COLONOSCOPY - THE DVD Dr C Williams, Prof JD Waye, Prof Y Sakai

Colonoscopy has evolved, since its introduction in 1970, into a major procedure - diagnostic and therapeutic - regularly performed in nearly every hospital around the world. Partly due to the very variable nature of the colon, also to the fact that the technique and instrumentation is constantly 'in evolution', there is an enormous variation in the way colonoscopy is performed.
The content of the DVD ROM is aimed to have interest for both beginners and experts. To the majority who still find the technique challenging, we offer it in the hope of illuminating some of the apparent mysteries involved in achieving complete, comfortable and safe colonoscopy. For those who feel that they have mastered the technique, we hope that there will be further understanding or enjoyment in some of the background materials we present and being able to see other experts in action.
With over four hours of video, utilising endoscopy department filming, endoscopic views, 3D graphics and interviews, this DVD sets the benchmark in endoscopy education.
