With the advent of bowel cancer screening, effective management of early colonic cancer and pre-cancer has never been more important. All colonoscopists and endoscopy nurses need to be comfortable with the basics of polypectomy and be aware of advanced therapeutic techniques such as P-EMR and ESD. This one day workshop will involve a comprehensive and intensive overview of current resection techniques and will include state of the art lectures, mini-seminars, panel discussion, as well as live demonstrations.
AIMS:

to understand basic and advanced polypectomy technique including diathermy

to gain confidence in identifying and managing early CRC

to recognise and appropriately manage unusual polyp findings at colonoscopy

to recognise and appropriately manage polypectomy complications
