With the advent of bowel cancer screening, effective management of early colonic cancer and pre cancer has never been more important. All colonoscopists and endoscopy nurses need to be comfortable with the basics of polypectomy and be aware of advanced therapeutic techniques such as P-EMR and ESD. This one day workshop will involve a comprehensive and intensive overview of current resection techniques and will include state-of-the-art lectures, mini-seminars, Q and A sessions as well as live demonstrations.
This workshop is the first of a series of three describing key elements of therapeutic endoscopy. Workshops 2 & 3 will cover the challenges of endoscopic stricture management and gastrointestinal bleeding (dates to be announced).
