TRAIN THE COLONOSCOPY TRAINERS

The Wolfson Unit is now running a 'Train The Colonoscopy Trainers Course'.

This two-day course is for experienced endoscopists who are involved in teaching and training colonoscopy. The course aims to equip endoscopists with the skills to train their trainees in their own unit. The course utilises current models of adult education in a practical setting, directly applying this to colonoscopy training.

Up to six delegates will have the opportunity to practise the teaching methodology on simulator models and in real patient colonoscopy.

You should ideally have a 90% completion rate, be a consultant, a final year SpR or senior nurse endoscopist involved in training.

The course is also ideal for those who wish to be faculty members of Regional or National Centres as well as those wishing to take an interest in local endoscopy training.

This is a JAG approved and accredited course. The course has CME/CPD accreditation, awarding 12 points.
