WOLFSON UNIT AWARDED NATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE STATUS
The Wolfson Unit for Endoscopy has recently been awarded national training centre status by the NHS Workforce Development Confederation.
The aim of the programme is to develop a National training centre for endoscopy education and training. Facilitating standards of excellence in endoscopy skills at both National and local level and to enhance the quality of care provided by endoscopists.
The prestigious designation brings with it significant funding to allow the unit to expand its education and training facilities to offer an even greater variety of endoscopy training courses.
